She Bore Her Scars Like Wings!

Photo by Rene Asmussen from Pexels

She is Beautiful!,
Not someone pitiful.
She is enough skillful,
Even if her life is hardly blissful.

She was blamed for a mistake never made,
Said ‘NO’ to a devil to invade,
Acid was thrown at her like a grenade,
No one came for her emotional aid!

She bore the burning sensation,
But not society’s allegation,
Not allowed to give her story narration,
All she got was depression.

She tried suicide,
She thought she had nothing left to pride,
Judgement of people she couldn’t abide
Still she gave life a chance, keeping worries aside!

People now call her ugly,
She remembers she was young and bubbly.
There words never affect her roughly,
But her confidence crashes temporarily.

Acid was thrown on her face,
Still she stood tall with grace,
This couldn’t break her dreams and confidence,
She still had her own space!

True love she found,
Her inner beauty left him spell-bound,
She was nothing but happy and astound,
She found someone who would heal her wound.

In future like star she twinks,
Life for her was not an easy swing,
Courage and faith is what she brings,
She bore her scars like wings!

The story of women’s struggle for equality belongs to no single feminist nor to any one organization but to the collective efforts of all who care about human rights.

  1. Scars Ability to Transform
    into Flowers or Thorns
    Depending On How
    We Fall or Rise
    More Out Of
    Every
    Scarring
    Trouble in Life
    Isn’t Life Challenging
    Enough As Is Without Others
Scarring Our Freedoms Away From Heal…

SMiles Most Beautiful Souls indeed Stay Have
Deepest Scars that We may not even See

Yet Most Beautiful Souls Indeed See
Through All Scars Flicker Yes Flame
Torch And Bonfire to Light Largest
    Darkest Rooms of Souls
    From Abyss BLacK
    into Beyond
    Colors
    of
    Rainbows
    Loving All Again…

    Smiles Beauty is Farther
    Than Skin Deep Ever Sees
    And Beautiful Enough Always
to See Beyond All Scars For
Every Flicker to Light Darkest Rooms Again

    The Breath
    Of Rose
    That
    Those
    Without Eyes
    Or Ears See Deeper Within..:)

      1. Yes, Ava. I am doing great. I was glad to read that poem of yours. Women’s rights are the world’s Number Problem. By we, I mean such as myself that will work with women to turn our society around through the democratic voting to elect new leaders who are or will be with us on all of the women issues that arise during and leading up to and during any and all elections. Thank you Ava !!

  3. Inspite of all the struggles and pain, still that person never gave up for being positive!

and that’s what people should do in their lives.♥️
