What If🌷

A man full of curiosity,
With many questions in mind,
Finally decides to ask whom and why.

He asked a Koel,
What if you weren’t black?
You would’ve looked pretty.

He asked the sky,
What if you weren’t endless?
You would’ve suffered less.

He asked the mountains,
What if you weren’t that tall?
You won’t have been so lonely.

He asked the sea,
What if your water was not salty,
People would’ve loved you more.

He asked a rose,
What if you lose your thorns?
You would’ve been more adorable.

He asked the trees,
Only if you could move,
You would save yourselves.

They all said in unionism,
O man if only you could judge less,
It would’ve been so great!

-Ava Tripathy.

Our judgments judge us, and nothing reveals us, exposes our weaknesses, more ingeniously than the attitude of pronouncing upon our fellows.

    1. First of all , the divine love , light , blessings and wealth are more than enough for all people and creatures plus we are all expressions of the divine blessings and love .
Everything is as it should be by the divine …
If the sea had no salt , it would spoil … Salt is necassary for balance in nature …
If the sky was limited or life in general was all known and limited , it would lose its mystery and space for introspection and discovery …

  2. I like this. Perception is reality, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and such. Judgements are based on what we are taught to perceive. As a kid, I read the book Clan of the Cave Bear. It was a world in which everything I had been taught to believe as good or superior was the opposite. I learned then, a long long time ago, that perceptions have the capacity for change. What we judge now to be superior….years from now, may not be. Everything has its purpose under the sun, its usefulness….just depends on how we see it and how open we are to it. Thanks for a good read!
