This Is How It Goes!

With Monday week start,
Keeping me and bed apart,
Finding no joy and fun,
I’m always angry with sun!

Tuesday came gradually,
It was horrible actually.
Was irritated with sudden rain,
I got wet, what a pain!

Next Wednesday walk,
Giving me headache not letting me talk.
I was not okay with sickness,
Still I won’t show meekness!

Thursday came stalking,
Making me feel like mocking.
Mood was all sad and gloomy,
But holidays ahead makes me bloomy!

Slowly Friday drop,
Upcoming homework makes my plan flop.
New movie makes me entice,
But I’m busy, not so nice!

Not so Fast Weekend Saturday came,
Like other days it’s not same.
I couldn’t think where to go,
Staying at home is a NO!

Sunday was not so slow,
Idea of Monday gave me blow.
I spent my day inside,
thinking about my week outside.

  1. Hello Ava It has been a real long time since I have come to visit your blog. I am glad I have dropped in today. I enjoyed the poem about the week. You really caught the angle from a personal view you had. You are growing more and more into a true poetess. I hope we are still friends. I was off and on writing because I rolled my SUV the end of January. I hit some black ice on the highway and lost control and slid into the north ditch and rolled over. How many times maybe one and a half but I was blacked out once it rolled. Just so you know why I was absent a lot this year. ❤
