Often when people are stressed they feel more frustrated and emotionally exhausted. The only problem because of which our frustration affects us so much is that it’s not always easy to be positive and some circumstances make it more of a challenge than others.It’s absolutely normal to be angry and have frustration but it’s not okay to let these negative feelings control our life.

1.Keep Calm & Think Before You Speak.
Always remember that once something is said can never be taken back.When someone is frustrated, in the heat of the moment it’s very easy to lose your composure & say something which you will regret later. So, it’s very important to take a while to be calm and collect our thoughts & allow the same for others involved in the situation.When you are angry it’s truly necessary to choose your words wisely.
2.Try To Figure Out-“Why Am I So Frustrated?”
The basic step to control your frustration is trying to figure out the reason or source of your frustration.Once your are calm, try to think clearly the reason behind your frustration. It’s very important to find the roots of your frustration so that you can find constructive ways to deal with it.
3.Express Your Anger Once You Calm Down.
To free yourself from your frustration, expressing yourself forms a crucial part. So, it’s absolutely fine to say why or what made you angry but it’s okay only when you express your feelings in a correct state of mind.Once you are thinking clearly,express your frustration in an assertive but non-confrontational way.State your needs and concerns directly and clearly, without hurting anyone or controlling them.
4.Search For Possible Solutions.
There is a solution to every problem, same way there must be some solution to your frustration.So,try to find a solution for it. Change your attitude towards something which disturbs you.Don’t run from your problems.Learn to face them.Try to be a little more optimistic.Learn more about how to develop a resilient state of mind, and you’ll feel less stressed.Taking such steps in the long run will eventually make you feel better.
5.Don’t Hold Grudge.
Learn to forgive and forget. It will make your life easier. Forgiveness is a very powerful tool as it removes all type of negativity and anger within us. If you can forgive someone who angered you, you might both learn from the situation and strengthen your relationship. Hence, it’s best not to hold grudge.
6.Divert Yourself.
Learn to divert yourself when you feel too frustrated by doing something pleasant, something which makes you genuinely happy. Instead of beating yourself up mentally over your frustrating day,try to do something enjoyable. Doing something which makes you happy will definitely bring some peace to your mind.
7.Practice Relaxation Skills.
When your temper flares up, bring some relaxation skills to work. Whenever you feel that your bubble of anger is going to burst,slowly take a deep breath in and out.Lightening up can help diffuse tension. Use humor to help you face what’s making you angry.Start practicing meditation and yoga.It will actually help you to maintain your composure and peace of mind.
Learning to control anger is a challenge for everyone at times.But frustration shouldn’t be an ongoing experience. Like the weather, it’s bound to change. So, hold on everything will be all right.
